AVAILABILITY:

 

 

 

This schedule is available to members having loads of 100 kW or larger, for all types of usage, subject to the established rules and regulations of the Cooperative.

MINIMUM CHARGE:

     

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The minimum monthly charge shall be the highest one of the following charges:

 

            1.          The monthly Availability charge.

            2.          $1.00 per kVA of installed transformer capacity.

            3.          The minimum monthly charge specified in the Agreement for

                         Electric Service.

 

TAXES:

 

 

 

The above rate shall be subject to all sales and franchise taxes levied or imposed by laws or ordinances as incurred by the Cooperative.

 

BILLING DEMAND DETERMINATION:

 

 

 

 

The billing demand shall be the maximum kilowatt demand established by the member for any period of fifteen consecutive minutes during the month for which the bill is rendered, as indicated or recorded by a demand meter and adjusted for power factor as provided hereafter.

 

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:

 

 

 

If a member served under this rate schedule fails to establish a demand of 100 kW during a consecutive twelve (12) month period, the Cooperative may transfer the member to service under the applicable rate schedule.

 

POWER FACTOR ADJUSTMENT:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Demand charges may be adjusted to correct for power factors lower than 90% when Cooperative deems necessary. Such adjustments will be made by increasing the measured demand 1.0% for each 1.0% by which the average power factor is less than 90% lagging.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DELIVERY POINT:

 

 

 

 

 

Unless otherwise specified in the service contract, the delivery point shall be the metering point where service is furnished at secondary voltage or the point of attachment of the Cooperative’s primary line to the member’s primary facilities if service is furnished at primary line voltage. The member is solely responsible for all wiring, equipment, and safe usage of electricity at and beyond the point of delivery.

 

TEMPORARY SERVICE:

 

 

 

 

 

Temporary service shall be in accordance with the rate schedule, except that the member shall pay, in addition to the specified rate and charges, construction and demolition costs associated with the service, less the value of material returned to stock. An advance deposit may be required of the full amount of the total estimated costs.

 

PRIMARY SERVICE:

 

 

 

 

 

Service may be furnished to the member at Cooperative’s primary distribution voltage if requested by the member or if the member requests a voltage that is not a standard Cooperative voltage. All metering and system protective equipment will be charged to the member as part of the installation costs. The member will be responsible for all equipment on load side of the metering point(s). 

 

TERMS OF PAYMENT:

 

 

 

 

 

The above charges are net. Gross charges are ten percent (10%) higher. In the event payment is not made by or on the 15th day after the postmark date of the bill, the gross charges shall apply. Member will be disconnected if bill has not been paid on the disconnect date.
