                                        CAPITAL CREDITS

In the form of capital credits. Intercounty’s Board of Directors has approved a total of $1,682,163.37 in capital credit retirements.

A portion of distribution capital credits from 1999 make up $1,000,000.00 of the total being returned, while the other $682,163.37 in disbursements represent a portion of Sho-Me Power’s transmission capital credits from 1995.

Unlike investor-owned utilities, who answer to distant shareholders, Intercounty Electric is governed by member-owners who receive the co-op’s electric service.
