Signing Up for Service

Welcome to Intercounty Electric Cooperative! You're signing up for a membership with the co-op when you start service with us. To get started, visit one of our 3 offices Licking, Mtn. Grove or Rolla, or call us at 1-866-621-3679 to set up your account. 

 

New Member and Existing Member

What information will be needed to have residential services connected?

  • Valid photo ID

  • Social Security Number

  • Landlord Agreement

  • Physical Address (where service will be connected)

  • Map Location Number (located on the side of the meter box or on the pole)

Is a deposit required?

Intercounty Electric Cooperative does have a deposit charge.  

We offer prepaid metering or PrePay Power with no deposit.

 

 

Traditional Service

  • Members are billed once a month. Autopay and budget billing payment options are available.
  • All new members are assessed a refundable security deposit, but it can be waived IECA if:
    • you are already a member in good standing.
  • IECA will notify you if your account requires a deposit. Your deposit must be paid in full before service is started.
  • One year from the date your deposit is paid in full, it may be refunded if your account has remained in good standing.
  • Must have a copy of your I.D. on file.

 

PrePay Service

  • No deposit required.
  • As opposed to paying for your electricity use after you use it, you prepay on your bill ahead of time.
  • When your account runs low on funds, you simply put more money into your account.
  • You control how much money you spend on electricity.
  • No disconnect or reconnect fees.
  • Easier on your budget, flexible to manage.

 

To Stop Service

Remember, you'll receive IECA capital credit checks from your membership at IECA so please keep us updated on any address changes. If you are stopping service please come by one of our 3 offices or contact us at 1-866-621-3679.
